Developed some 17 years ago by the D.A.ST. Arteam back in 1997, a collaboration between artists Danae Stratou, industrial designer Alexandra Stratou, and architect Stella Constantinides that took 2 years to complete.  Desert Breath  was carved out the sands of the Sahara desert near the Red Sea in El Gouna, Egypt, and evokes the infinite.  The installation covers an area of about 1 million square feet (100,000 square meters).
