Bathbombs are surprisingly easy to make, and fun to experiment with, and makes any bath special.  At it’s core they are made with three main ingredients:

  • Acid (ex: citric acid)
  • Base (ex: baking soda)
  • Binding Agent (ex: water)

Here are two great recipes to get you started.

Wet Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 TBsp. Jojoba Oil
  • 1 ½ tsp Rose petal witch hazel
  • 50 drops lavender essential oil
  • 30 drops chamomile essential oil

Mix

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup Baking soda
  • ½ cup Citric acid
  • ½ cup fine Sea salt
  • ½ cup arrowroot powder
  • 1 TBsp Spirulina powder

Mix

Making the bathballs

  • Add wet mix to dry mix slowly with a wisk
  • Add ¼ tsp lavender buds or chamomile buds to each half of the mold
  • Add mixture fill in and pack tightly, close mold
  • Freeze for 1 hour to set
  • Remove mold
  • Let set overnight

Take a bath!

Wet Ingredients

  • 3-4 tsp almond oil
  • 1 tsp water
  • 50 drops lavender essential oil

Mix

Dry Ingredients

  • 1 cup Baking soda
  • ½ cup Citric acid
  • ½ cup arrowroot powder or corn starch
  • 1/4 cup dry milk
  • 3 TBsp Epsom Salt

Mix

Making the bathballs

  • Add wet mix to dry mix slowly with a wisk
  • Add ¼ tsp lavender buds or chamomile buds to each half of the mold
  • Add mixture fill in and pack tightly, close mold
  • Freeze for 1 hour to set
  • Remove mold
  • Let set overnight in an airtight container or 
  • bake in oven for 1 hour at 200 deg F
  • (optional) decorate with gold mica powder

Take a bath!
