British photographer Tim Flach spent 2 years producing the body of work Endangered in which he documents and presents some of Earth’s most threatened animals. Sadly most of these animals are facing extinction through direct human action such as poaching and habitat destruction, or indirectly through pollution and climate change acceleration. These animals have as much right to live on Earth as we do. Humans have the opportunity and arguably the responsibility to be caretakers not selfish destroyers. These photos are beautiful and heartbreaking .
For most of us, endangered animals are a far-away mystery. British photographer Tim Flach, however, has spent the last 2 years braving their habitats and documenting their fragile existences. The resulting body of work, Endangered, provides us with an intimate and rare view into the beautiful lives of Earth’s most threatened creatures, and reminds us of everything we should be afraid to lose.
