Baking Soda & Vinegar/Lemon Juice Hair Treatment

Step 1:  Baking Soda Hair Wash


  • 1 –  2 Baking Soda (also known as sodium bicarbonate or sodium hydrogen carbonate)
  • 1 Cup water (if hard water, boil for 10 mins. then allow to cool.

Pour over hair, then rinse with water, then proceed to step 2….

Step 2:  Apple Cider Vinegar/Lemon Juice Hair Rinse

Vinegar is naturally restores pH balance of both hair and scalp, making hair shiny and reducing itchy scalp.


  • 1/2  – 1 TS Apple Cider Vinegar or Lemon Juice
  • 1 Cup water

Lemon Ginger Refreshing Moisturizing


  • 3 tablespoon unscented castille soap
  • 1 tablespoon freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 1/2 cups ginger tea
  • 3 eggs

How to Make

Add all ingredients into blender.  Add to wet hair, and rinse thoroughly.  

Store in refrigerator, keeps for 3-4 days


Ginger Shampoo Recipe

  • 1 cup distilled water
  • 2 tablespoons of grated ginger root
  • 2 tablespoons liquid castille soap

How to Make

Pour boiled water over the grated ginger,  Strain the hot ginger tea through a cheesecloth into a bowl containing the castille soap.  Mix.  Allow to cool.

Refrigerate after use.  Keeps 1 week.  Note, only use a maximum of 3x per week.  Shampoo will create a tingling sensation on your scalp which is how you know its working!


Apple Cider Vinegar Conditioner


  • 1 –  2 TS APV
  • 1 Cup water

Keep a small bottle of APV in the shower, and another squirt top bottle with two measurement lines, one for vinegar and one for water.  Then can make in the shower easily.

Essential Oils

Add scent to shampoo or conditioner with essential oils or herbs.

For Oily hair: 6-8 drops of bergamot, lavender, sandalwood, or ylang ylang

For Dry scalp/dandruff: 6-8 drops of peppermint, eucalyptus or sage

 Recipe #1

This deodorant is a super anti-viral, anti-microbial, anti-bacteria solution that also smells nice 🙂


  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) apple cider vinegar
  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) distilled or spring water *
  • 30 drops lemongrass or lemon essential oil
  • 15 drops lavender essential oil
  • 5 drops tea tree essential oil

Add to a  4 ounce glass spray bottle, shake and spray.

* Note: Can substitute the distilled water with 100 proof vodka for extra strength


Recipe #2


  • 2 tablespoons vodka (the higher the proof the better)
  • 2 tablespoons distilled water
  • 2 drops rose absolute essential oil
  • 2 drops jasmine essential oil
  • 2 drops orange essential oil
  • 1 drop lavender essential oil

Add to a  4 ounce glass spray bottle, shake and spray.

Note the vodka helps mix the essential oils with the water while also reducing the sweating.

The dark colored bottle will help keep the essential oils from degrading. 


Recipe #3


  • 2 ounces (1/4 cup) distilled water
  • 1 tspn Baking Soda
  • 1 tspn Himalayan Salt
  • 2-3 drops lavender essential oil

Add to a  4 ounce glass spray bottle, shake and spray.
